Another season has come and gone. While we’re past the upheaval of spring’s 15 designer debuts, fall 2026 proved another lively fashion month. Change was still afoot: Meryll Rogge showed her first collection for Marni, while Pieter Mulier took his final bow at Alaïa as he moves to pastures new at Versace.
As for the runways, models strutted through makeshift greenhouses and construction sites alike. And, although we saw plenty of familiar faces (Gemma Ward, Kate Moss, and Raquel Zimmermann alike) there were more than a few freshly minted models in the mix.
Nine new faces, in particular, stood out this season. This class of breakout models call all different corners of the world home, from major metropolitan cities—including Warsaw, Melbourne, and São Paolo—to scenic municipalities like Loveland, Colorado, and Seddiner See in Germany.
While these models were new to the runway, they hit the ground running. Thalita Ferreira made a big impression, opening Loewe, Saint Laurent, and Schiaparelli, and closing Jean Paul Gaultier. Alina Miller, meanwhile, made the cut for Prada’s 15-person cast, shedding her layers in four trips down the catwalk.
Though they kept busy during fashion month, these models have full lives beyond the runway. Nyela Hopster is an avid K-pop fan—and would even practice the choreography backstage—while track star Josephen Akuei harbored Olympics aspirations. Below, meet the nine breakout models of the fall 2026 season.
