2025 was an exciting year in the music world, with dynamic new releases from the likes of Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Lorde, Sabrina Carpenter, Addison Rae, and Olivia Dean climbing the charts and starting conversations. But which acts are in contention for hardware on the industry’s biggest night?

Here, find everything you need to know about the 2026 Grammy Awards—from the date (tonight!) to the ceremony’s two new categories and all the major nominees.

How can I watch the 2026 Grammy Awards?

The 68th Grammy Awards—set for Sunday, February 1, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles—will be broadcast live from 8 p.m. Eastern on CBS and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.

Most of the night’s 95 categories will be announced before that, however, during the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony, kicking off at 12:30 p.m. Pacific/3:30 p.m. Eastern at LA’s Peacock Theater. You can stream that live on live.Grammy.com.

Do the 2026 Grammy Awards have a host?

Yes: comedian Trevor Noah will be hosting the show for the sixth consecutive year.

Who will perform at the 2026 Grammy Awards?

Addison Rae, Alex Warren, Andrew Watt, Brandy Clark, Bruno Mars, Chad Smith, Clipse, Duff McKagan, Justin Bieber, Katseye, Lady Gaga, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Lukas Nelson, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Olivia Dean, Pharrell Williams, Post Malone, Reba McEntire, Rosé, Sabrina Carpenter, Slash, Sombr, The Marías, and Tyler, The Creator are all due to take the Crypto.com Arena stage on Sunday night.

Who will present at the 2026 Grammy Awards?

The evening’s lineup of presenters includes Carole King, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, Doechii, Harry Styles, Jeff Goldblum, Karol G, Lainey Wilson, Marcello Hernández, Nikki Glaser, Q-Tip, Queen Latifah, and Teyana Taylor.

What new award categories were introduced for the 2026 Grammy Awards?

For the first time ever, the Grammys will include categories for best traditional country album and best album cover this year.

While the Recording Academy’s official line on the additions was that they would help the group recognize “a broader spectrum of artistic craft” and honor “the evolving ways music is created and experienced,” critics of the new country category in particular questioned its timing—arriving as it does just a year after Beyoncé became the first-ever Black woman to win best country album (for Cowboy Carter). Others, however, have argued that the category will give a genre that has often been overlooked important new visibility.

Which artists and albums are nominated for Grammys in 2026?

See the nominees across 22 top categories—including album of the year, best new artist, and song of the year—below. (Among the snubs? Lorde’s uncompromising work on Virgin and Gracie Abrams’s infectious sophomore record, The Secret of Us.)
