Last night in New York City, The Tiffany & Co. Blue Book gala was the soirée to attend uptown—and Rosé had to be there. On the Upper East Side, the Park Avenue Armory was transformed into an elegant indoor garden—among the foliage, an A-list crowd: stars like Mariah Carey (who performed!), Teyana Taylor, Connor Storrie, Greta Lee, and Rosé. “This was my first time attending the Tiffany Blue Book event,” Rosé tells Vogue—who she brought along for the night. “I’m so excited to be here in New York with this lovely weather!”
The singer and Blackpink member is fresh off of attending weekend one of Coachella last week, where—though she did not perform (we wish!)—she took in some stellar pop acts. “Sabrina [Carpenter] was the first show we went to watch, and she set the tone for the whole weekend,” says Rosé. “It was literally insane. If you asked me if I have any notes, no notes. It was perfect and we were so hyped; me and my friends were singing her songs until four a.m… maybe six!” She also had time to make her rounds for some of the other stellar acts. “The rest of the performances were amazing. We went to Sombr, Justin Bieber, The Strokes, PinkPantheress, Bigbang,” she says. “Every single stage was so much fun. And yes, I might have lost my voice.”
When she landed in New York earlier this week, however, she was finally ready for a glitzy Manhattan moment. Think: less boho-chic festival attire, more uptown refinement. “The Tiffany event is a perfect way to end this trip from the desert,” Rosé says. “I was very excited to meet everyone there, and learn more about the history of the Blue Book.” The Blue Book collection serves as the luxury jewelry brand’s finest High Jewelry collection: Not a bad way to spend a day, playing with one-of-a-kind jewels.
Yesterday, before attending the Blue Book gala, the star headed to Tiffany’s landmark store location on 5th avenue, where she got to peruse some of the new jewelry pieces. Cue: playing dress up and dripping in diamonds. “The more and more I get into fashion and dressing myself, I think I’m gravitating towards classic and timeless pieces,” she says of her go-to style. “It’s so much fun exploring all the different sorts of designs that they have. and discovering jewelry that inspires me the most. Tiffany’s has something for everyone, and I’ve noticed that they have something for all the different personalities and interests I’ve had over the years.”
